The Chill Dill is a standard dill chip that classifies itself as “The perfect balance of Salty, Tangy, & Sweet”. I’ll start by saying this is a delicious dill chip, but is it a perfect balance of salty, tangy & sweet? I’m going to say no. I think it might be a perfect balance of tangy and sweet, but due to the amount of salt it’s hard to say. It’s almost like there are moments when it tastes like you drank a glass of straight salt water, then the tangy and sweet show up and save the day. I don’t hate this even a little bit, but if Thanos ate one of these pickles I can assure you he would not say it’s perfectly balanced, as all things should be. These pickles, as the name somewhat indicates are found in the refrigerated section at your local pickle and food mart. (Initially I thought it was just a super chill laissez-faire pickle situation, but it turns out the chill refers to how you store them not their general attitude toward life) As a result these chill dills arguably pack some of the best crunch I’ve had in a chip. It’s glorious and I’m convinced the smiling dill pickle wearing a ninja headband on the label undoubtedly has something to do with it. Reality is often disappointing, but if you are not afraid of a little extra salt this Chill Dill can be all the crunchy delicious you want it to be.
