This delicious standard dill spear is quite fantastic. It’s got a really fresh taste, and I like the hints of celery seed you get while making quick work of the 17oz of pickle delight. The jar has some weird shit going on as well that I find interesting. It says “fresh taste year round”, then goes on to say “made seasonally with locally grown produce”. So they make them seasonally and they are fresh year round. Seems reasonable enough. They are locally grown in Bozeman MT and packaged in Bozeman MT. But the front of the jar has a picture of a beet with the words Bozeman MT above it and Jackson WY below it. Bozeman is mentioned 3 other times, but there is no mention of their role in this pickle process. So where are the beets and how does Jackson WY fit into this delicious jar of pickle delight? It’s one of life’s greatest mysteries.
