This starts off with a good crunch thats not too spicy with a nice dill finish. It’s a vinegar heavy brine but has more sweetness than you would expect from a dill. There is a balance to the sweetness that is not over powering but confusing nonetheless. This is a clean pickle that gives you depth that evolves from the first bite to the last and has you coming back for another try to figure it out all over again. And that’s just the thing… you can’t figure it out, it’s a constant state of limbo trying to determine if you love this pickle, or if you are blindly eating one after another stuck in the haze of a confused pre and postpartum pickle conundrum. I find myself wondering if the feeling I’m getting after the next pickle is due to the one I just ate, or the one I’m about to eat. Am I confused, or anticipating confusion therefore causing the very feeling I’m confused about? Sound confusing? Eat the pickles and find out, or don’t and maybe you’ll find out before eating them?
