The Pickle Chronicles

Cleveland Kitchen Bread and Butta Chips

3.5 out of 5

This pickle has an overall nice flavor. It leans more toward sweet butta than bread, or maybe sweet bread and not butta. It is a lightly fermented pickle so most of the flavor comes from the pickle not the juice. The crunch is average at best. I feel this is due to the large circumference of the chip. It creates a larger center “limp zone” which is a problem you’ll find in large chips, whole pickles and halves. Sometimes you’ll even have a hole in the center. Not a huge hole like a Keebler Elf Fudge Stripe cookie, but a small one like a life savor. Also I’d like to point out those Keebler Elves know how to fuckin make cookies. I bet they can also make one hell of a pickle. I do not have any knowledge if they are as good at canning and pickling as they are at baking but if they did i feel like it would for sure be one pickle to rule them all. Anyway, This is not a pickle to run from as it’s a nice change in pace from time to time, but not something you need to restock when empty. So give them a try, but also maybe get some Fudge Stripes while you are out.
